99 Regent Street — also written NinetyNine Regent Street — is a two-floor club in the West End, on the address that has housed London nightlife since 1954. Open-format hip hop runs upstairs and house downstairs, in a room pitched deliberately more elegant than the big-room clubs around it.
It makes a strong birthday room for one reason most West End venues cannot match: two music policies on one booking.
Check This First
99 Regent Street is 20+. Every guest, including on a table. If anyone in the party is 18 or 19 this is the wrong venue and we will point you at an 18+ room instead — see the age policy. Worth confirming before you send the invites.
What a Birthday Table Includes
- Entry for the whole group, on either floor
- A reserved table held in the birthday name
- Bottle service with mixers, ice and glassware
- A host looking after the table all night
- Sparklers and a bottle presentation on request
- Free booking and planning support from London Night Guide
Cost
Tables start at £600 minimum spend, higher on peak Saturdays. Across ten guests that is about £60 each with entry included — against around £50 a head for the men in your group just to get through the door, assuming they get through at all.
Why It Works for Groups
Birthday parties rarely agree on music. On a Friday or Saturday both floors run — hip hop upstairs, house downstairs — so people can move between them on one booking. Midweek only one floor opens, so book the weekend if the group is split.
Planning Notes
- Check every age. 20+, no exceptions. This is the one that ruins birthdays here.
- Book the weekend if you want both floors.
- Confirm the headcount. Adding guests later can move the minimum spend.
- Brief the group on dress. Elegant, no trainers. See the dress code.
- Book early for Saturdays — a fortnight ahead for a large group.
How to Book
Send us the date, the group size and a rough budget. We come back with availability and the minimum spend for that night, hold the table in the birthday name, and arrange sparklers or a presentation if you want them. No booking fee.
