99 Regent Street — also written NinetyNine Regent Street — is a two-floor club in the West End, on the address that has housed London nightlife since 1954. Open-format hip hop runs upstairs and house downstairs, in a room pitched deliberately more elegant than the big-room clubs around it.
The Age Policy: 20+
99 Regent Street is 20+. Not 18+, which is the standard almost everywhere else in London. If anyone in your group is 18 or 19, they will not get in — including on a table booking, including on a birthday.
This catches people out more than any other rule here, because the assumption is that 18+ is universal. It is worth checking the whole group before you pick the venue.
Why It Is Higher
The policy goes with the positioning. 99 is pitched as an elegant, slightly older room rather than a student-friendly one, and the age limit is one of the levers that keeps the crowd where they want it — alongside the dress code.
ID
Bring photo ID. Accepted:
- Passport
- UK photocard driving licence
- EU or EEA national identity card
- PASS-accredited proof-of-age card
Everyone needs their own. Expect to be asked regardless of how old you look — with a 20+ policy the door checks harder, not less.
If Your Group Is Younger
For an 18th or a group with under-20s, pick somewhere else and we will help you do it — most London clubs are 18+. Rumour, Itzel and Maddox are all 18+ and comparable rooms. Message us with the ages and the occasion and we will suggest the right venue.
