Itzel is a three-room nightclub on Berkeley Street in Mayfair, occupying the space that was Funky Buddha for over two decades. The rebrand split the venue into a hip hop main room, a house-led basement called the Moon Room, and a late-night taqueria — a different proposition to the single-room club it replaced.
A table is the sensible way into Itzel. The door charges £50 for gentlemen and up to £20 for ladies even on the guestlist, so a booking that includes entry for the group pays for a meaningful share of itself before the first bottle arrives.
Minimum Spend
- Tables and booths: from £600 minimum spend
- Peak Saturdays and headline nights: higher minimums apply — confirm at the time of booking
The minimum spend is what your group commits to spend behind the table on bottles and mixers. It is not a cover charge and the table itself costs nothing. Across eight people, £600 is £75 each including entry.
What Is Included
- Entry for your whole group — no £50 door charge per gentleman
- A reserved table held in your name for the night
- Bottle service with mixers, ice and glassware
- Access to both the main room and the Moon Room
- A host looking after your table
- Free booking and concierge support from London Night Guide

The Three Rooms
- Main Room — hip hop and eclectic, read to the crowd. Resident DJs with international headline artists on bigger nights. This is where most tables sit and where the night peaks.
- Moon Room — house-led, under a fibre-optic star ceiling. Darker, bluer and more dance-focused than upstairs, with its own bar.
- Taqueria — a late-night taco bar inside the club. Unusual for Mayfair, where food generally stops at the door, and genuinely useful at 2am.
The practical upshot is that one booking covers two very different music policies. If half your group wants hip hop and the other half wants house, Itzel is one of the few Mayfair rooms that settles the argument.
Where to Sit
Most tables sit in the main room, around the hip hop floor and the red-lit bar — the busiest part of the club and the best view of the night. The Moon Room downstairs has its own smaller seating under the star ceiling, quieter and more house-focused. Tell us which sound your group is there for and we will place you accordingly.
Group Sizes
Tables suit groups of around six to fourteen. Larger parties can be laid out across adjoining tables — give us your final number and we will keep the group together. Note that adding guests after booking can move the minimum spend, so give us the real headcount up front.
Food
The in-house taqueria runs late, which makes Itzel unusual among Mayfair clubs. Tacos can be brought to the table rather than the group scattering to find food at 2am. Worth building into the plan for a long night or a birthday.
When to Book
Fridays and Saturdays go first, and headline nights go faster still. Thursday is more relaxed and better value if your date is flexible. Birthdays and larger groups are worth arranging at least a week ahead.
Dress Code
“Elegance with edge” — no sportswear, hoodies, shorts or activewear. A table guarantees entry for your group, but everyone still has to meet the door standard.
Location
Itzel is at 15 Berkeley Street, Mayfair, London W1J 8DY. The nearest tube is Green Park, about three minutes away, with Piccadilly Circus and Bond Street also within walking distance. Berkeley Street runs from Piccadilly up to Berkeley Square, in the middle of Mayfair’s late-night cluster.
How to Book
Send us your date, group size and rough budget. We come back with availability and the current minimum spend, hold the table in your name, and confirm before the night. There is no booking fee.
