Itzel is a three-room nightclub on Berkeley Street in Mayfair, occupying the space that was Funky Buddha for over two decades. The rebrand split the venue into a hip hop main room, a house-led basement called the Moon Room, and a late-night taqueria — a different proposition to the single-room club it replaced.
Itzel is one of the Mayfair clubs that charges on the door even with a guestlist place. Here is exactly what it costs.
Door Prices
- Ladies: £10 to £20, depending on the night and how busy it is
- Gentlemen: £50
- Table guests: no door charge — entry is included in the booking
Quieter Thursdays sit at the bottom of the ladies’ range; peak Saturdays and headline nights at the top.
What the Guestlist Actually Does
This is the part worth being clear about. At Itzel the guestlist does not make entry free. What it does is secure your place on a night that may otherwise be full, and put you in the faster queue. The door charge still applies.
That is different to most of the Mayfair clubs we book, where ladies on the list usually get in free before midnight. We would rather say so here than have you turn up expecting one thing and meet another.
When a Table Is Cheaper
For groups of men especially, the door charge adds up fast:
- 4 gentlemen: £200 through the door, standing
- 6 gentlemen: £300 through the door, standing
- 10 gentlemen: £500 through the door, standing
A table from £600 includes entry for everyone and returns the whole spend as bottles. Ten men pay £500 through the door; £100 more puts the group on a table with bottles, and a booth instead of a spot by the wall.
Headline Nights
Itzel books international headline artists alongside its residents. On those nights door prices and table minimums both move, and the room sells out earlier. Message us with your date and we will tell you what is on and what it will cost before you commit.
What Else to Budget
Drinks at the bar are Mayfair prices. The in-house taqueria is worth factoring in — late food inside the venue is rare around here and cheaper than the 3am alternatives. Service charge applies to table spend.
