Itzel is a three-room nightclub on Berkeley Street in Mayfair, occupying the space that was Funky Buddha for over two decades. The rebrand split the venue into a hip hop main room, a house-led basement called the Moon Room, and a late-night taqueria — a different proposition to the single-room club it replaced.
Here is how spend works at Itzel and what you actually get for it.
Minimum Spend
- From £600 for a table or booth
- Higher on peak Saturdays and headline nights — confirmed when you book
Minimum spend is not a fee. It is the amount your group commits to spend behind the table on bottles and mixers, and every pound of it comes back as drinks. The table costs nothing on top.
What It Works Out At
Split across a group, the numbers are less alarming than the headline:
- 6 people: about £100 each, entry included
- 8 people: about £75 each, entry included
- 10 people: about £60 each, entry included
Set that against the door. Eight gentlemen paying £50 each is £400 spent before anyone has a drink in their hand, and you are standing. For £200 more the same group is on a table, with somewhere to sit, bottles coming, and no queue.
What the Spend Buys
Expect the Mayfair range: champagne, premium vodka, tequila, cognac and whisky, with mixers, ice and glassware included in the service. Tequila is worth a look here given the Mexican theme — the taqueria and the bar are built around it. Ask us for the current list and we will send it with your quote.
Reading a Minimum Spend
Two things people get caught by. First, service charge sits on top of the minimum, as it does at every Mayfair club. Second, adding guests after you book can move the minimum — give us the real headcount up front and the quote holds.
Book a Table
Send us your date and group size and we will come back with current availability and the exact minimum for that night. Our service is free. See the full Itzel table booking guide, or compare with bottle prices across London.
