What a Night at The Box Looks Like
Doors open at 11pm. Arriving between 11pm and midnight is the sensible window, especially on the guestlist, because the door tightens as the room fills up. Tables are usually held for a set arrival time, so let your host know if you are running late.
Once inside, the night alternates between music and performance. Acts appear through the night rather than in one show, so the room never settles into a single rhythm. Between the acts, the DJ plays an open-format mix of hip-hop, RnB and well-known party records. The crowd is a mix of Londoners, international visitors and people celebrating something, with the occasional famous face.
The room closes at 4am. Soho is busy late, so getting a cab can take a while at closing; walking to Piccadilly Circus or Regent Street usually makes a pickup easier.
