Entry to KOKO is by ticket rather than guestlist. Message us about tickets for your date, or reserve a VIP table with bottle service and priority entry for your group.

KOKO Camden is 18+ for its late-night club programme, and photo ID is required. There is no under-18 entry to club nights, and the door checks properly — this is a 1,500-capacity licensed venue, not a bar where a doorman waves people through.

The Policy

  • Club nights (Friday and Saturday): 18 and over, photo ID required
  • Live gigs: age policy is set per event — some shows admit under-18s with an accompanying adult, others are strictly 18+. Always check the specific event.

That second point catches people out. A ticketed concert and a Saturday club night at the same address can have completely different age rules, so do not assume one from the other.

Accepted ID

  • Passport
  • UK photocard driving licence
  • National identity card (EU/EEA)
  • PASS-accredited proof-of-age card with the hologram

Photocopies, photos of ID on your phone and expired documents are not accepted. Bring the physical document.

How KOKO Compares

KOKO at 18+ is more accessible than much of the Mayfair circuit, where 21+ is common and enforced at the door. If you are 18–20 and looking for a serious London club night, KOKO is one of the better options — and the room is considerably more impressive than most venues that admit your age group.

Groups With Mixed Ages

Everyone needs to be 18+ and everyone needs their own ID. One person without ID is refused — being with a group does not help, and it will not be waved through because the rest of you are fine. Check before you travel across London.

Booking a VIP table gives your group priority entry, but it does not change the age policy. Every guest still needs valid photo ID.

Turning 18 or Celebrating a Birthday

KOKO is a strong choice for an 18th, precisely because the age policy allows it and the room does the work. Balcony booths start from £1,000 minimum spend — see our KOKO birthday packages guide.

If the birthday itself falls the night before you turn 18, you cannot get in. The door goes by the date on the ID.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is KOKO Camden 18+?

Yes. Club nights are 18 and over with photo ID required. Live gigs set their own age policy per event.

What ID does KOKO accept?

Passport, UK photocard driving licence, EU/EEA national ID card, or a PASS-accredited proof-of-age card. Photos of ID on a phone are not accepted.

Can under-18s go to KOKO?

Not to club nights. Some ticketed live shows admit under-18s with an accompanying adult — check the individual event.
