Where to go instead of Libertine
All are open and taking bookings through London Night Guide as of October 2026.
- Selene took over Libertine's space at 4 Winsley Street, Fitzrovia, near Oxford Circus: a futuristic room with iridescent walls and mirrored ceilings, running house-led nights Thursday to Sunday, 11pm to 4am, with private bowling lanes.
- Tape London at 17 Hanover Square, Mayfair, plays hip hop, RnB and Afrobeats on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Cirque le Soir on Ganton Street, Soho, has circus performers such as fire breathers and acrobats working the room to hip hop and RnB on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
- 99 Regent Street (formerly Cuckoo Club), entrance on Swallow Street near Piccadilly Circus, has hip hop and RnB upstairs and house downstairs, Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm to 4am.
What the Libertine drinks menu was like
For reference only, as none of this applies any more: Libertine by Chinawhite was a go to club for A listers. Its menu covered bottles of vodka, tequila, rum, cognac, gin and whisky, plus cocktail bottles, and for large table groups it offered champagne and vodka show packages such as the Prince Regent Show, the Emperor Show and the Ruler of the World Show.
