Cirque le Soir NYE 2026 is one of the most requested New Year's Eve tables in Soho, and this year it comes with a question. New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December; ask us whether Cirque le Soir opens that night, and book early. Thursday is not one of Cirque's usual nights at 15-21 Ganton Street, so the club will announce its own plans for New Year's Eve, and the groups already registered with us hear first. Will Cirque le Soir Open on New Year's Eve 2026?

Cirque's usual week is Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and New Year's Eve 2026 lands on a Thursday. As of October 2026 the club has not said whether it will open that night. Until it does, this page will not tell you Cirque is open on NYE, and we will not tell you that either.

What we can do is put your group at the front of the queue. Register now with your group size, the guys and girls split and your budget. The moment Cirque announces its New Year's Eve plans we confirm them to everyone registered, with the table options that fit each group. If Cirque opens, you are first in line for the tables with the best view of the performers. If it does not, we move the booking to Friday 1 January, or point you to a club that normally opens on Thursdays, such as Maddox or The Box.

Friday 1 January 2027: The Cirque Fallback

New Year's Day 2027 is a Friday and a bank holiday, as the GOV.UK bank holidays list confirms. Friday is one of Cirque's usual nights, so Friday 1 January falls on a normal Cirque opening. For plenty of groups that is the better night: the midnight crush is over, the transport is back to normal and most people have the Saturday off as well.

Two things to know for the Friday. Cirque is 21+ at weekends, so plan for the weekend age policy and bring physical photo ID for everyone. And the Friday after New Year's Eve is a busy night across the West End, so the same rule applies as for the Thursday: the groups who register first get the best tables.

How NYE Tables Work at Cirque le Soir

A holiday table at Cirque follows the same deal as any other Cirque table, with tighter rules around it.

• Minimum spend. The figure is what the table spends on drinks over the night, not an entry fee on top, and it covers entry for the group you book.
• Paying in advance. Holiday tables are usually secured with payment before the night rather than settled at the end. We confirm the exact terms with the table plan.
• Arrive by 11pm. The room is small, the shows run through the night and a late arrival loses the best of it.
• A fixed group size. The number you book is the number the door expects. Adding people on a full night is rarely possible, so give us final numbers, with the guys and girls split, at the start.

Cirque is an intimate room built around the performers, so table position matters more than at a bigger club: the tables nearest the action go first. The door standard holds on holiday nights too. What NYE Costs at Cirque le Soir

As of October 2026, Cirque le Soir tables start from £800 minimum spend on normal nights. NYE minimum spends are set by the club, are higher than a normal Saturday, and are confirmed when you book. The figure for a given group depends on the table position, the group size and how early the booking is made.

We will not quote a New Year's Eve price before the club sets one. When Cirque releases its plan, registered groups get the real figures first and decide from there, with no commitment before then.

The Guestlist at Cirque on New Year's Eve

Cirque runs a guestlist on its normal nights. On New Year's Eve the guestlist is usually restricted on New Year's Eve, closes early and is often ladies or mixed groups only; ask us for this year's door policy. That applies only if Cirque opens on the Thursday, and much the same goes for Friday 1 January, when the holiday crowd is still out.

For a mixed group, a table is the dependable way in on a holiday night. If a smaller group still prefers the guestlist, join the Cirque le Soir guestlist and tell us it is for New Year's, and we will come back with what the door is doing this year.

When to Book

Register now and decide later. Holiday tables at Soho's best known clubs go in the order enquiries arrive, so the groups already in the queue when Cirque releases its plan get the first choice. Registering costs nothing and commits you to nothing until you have seen the table plan and the minimum spend.

The busiest weeks for New Year's enquiries are the last three weeks of December, and by then the best tables at the clubs that are open have gone. A group that settles its numbers and budget in November has the widest choice, whichever night Cirque opens.

Getting There and Home on NYE

Cirque le Soir is on Ganton Street, behind Carnaby Street, and Time Out lists Oxford Circus as its nearest Tube.

Transport on New Year's Eve is the part most groups underestimate. As of October 2026, TfL had not published its plans for NYE 2026, so the best guide is last year. On NYE 2025 the Tube and DLR ran all night, but stations near the river closed or went exit-only through the evening: Charing Cross from 6pm, Westminster from 9:30pm, Embankment and Temple from 11pm, and Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus from 11:30pm. Oxford Circus was not on last year's closure list, but Piccadilly Circus was, so plan the route in from the north side of Soho and leave time for crowds.

Black cabs add an extra £4 to metered fares between 8pm on 31 December and 6am on 2 January, so agree the plan for getting home before the night starts.

If part of the group wants the Mayor of London's fireworks first, be realistic about it. The official London New Year's Eve 2026 page says the display runs on Thursday 31 December from 8pm to 12:30am, entry is by ticket only, tickets are sold only through Ticketmaster (up to 4 per person), and the first batch is on sale now with a second batch to come. A riverside midnight and a club table at midnight are two different nights, so pick one and plan around it.
