77 London — also written Seventy Seven — is a 550-capacity electronic music club in the basement of The BoTree hotel on Welbeck Street, Marylebone. It was designed by Concrete, the Amsterdam studio, as a deliberately asymmetrical room lit by synchronised gold and silver LED, and it is one of the few rooms in this part of London booking dance music seriously.
The Age Policy: 18+
77 London is 18+. You may see 21+ quoted on some third-party listings — that is not the venue’s policy, and it is worth knowing before you rule the place out for a younger group.
If the booking is an unusual one, say a private hire or a particular promoter’s night, tell us and we will confirm the policy for that specific date. Promoters occasionally set their own floor.
ID
Bring valid photo ID. Accepted:
- Passport
- UK photocard driving licence
- EU or EEA national identity card
- PASS-accredited proof-of-age card
Every guest needs their own, including anyone on a table booking. Expect to be asked regardless of how old you look — the venue is in a hotel and the licensing is taken seriously.
Planning a Birthday
For an 18th or 21st, 77 works where a lot of central rooms do not, precisely because it holds at 18+. Check every guest has ID before you leave and read the dress code. See our birthday packages guide for how to put the night together.
