New Year's Eve 2026 falls on Thursday 31 December, and London's NYE club events run from early-evening warehouse parties to Mayfair tables that only open their books in November. This guide covers the NYE 2026 club nights already on sale, how the big clubs usually handle the night, what tickets and tables cost, the Thames fireworks, and how to get home on the first bank holiday of 2027.
The short version: if a night you want is already on sale, buy now, because NYE tickets rise in price tier by tier. If you want a Mayfair or Soho table, register your interest early, because the best tables go to groups who commit and prepay first. Everything below is as of October 2026, and we will add events as clubs announce them.
NYE 2026 club events already on sale
These London New Year's Eve 2026 events were listed with dates and venues as of early October 2026. Line-ups and prices can change, so check the ticket page before you pay.

A few practical notes on these. Defected's Wembley party is the big-room house option and starts at 6pm, so it suits groups who want to dance early and still make it home at a sensible hour. Milkshake bills itself as one of London's longest-running NYE parties, and Fire's Forever London has VIP tables listed at £100 per person for groups of eight or ten (as of October 2026). The Notting Hill Arts Club night is small: its organisers say last year's session sold out, so it is one to book early rather than leave to December.
If you want a lower-cost night, bar chains are also selling NYE 2026 tickets across central London. As of October 2026, DesignMyNight lists Blame Gloria NYE tickets from £16.50 in Clapham Junction and £27.50 in Covent Garden, and The Cocktail Club from £10.60 including prosecco. At the other end, sky-high parties such as Horizon 22 (from £371, drinks until midnight included) and The Lookout (from £210) sell views of the fireworks across the City skyline.
The big clubs that have not announced yet
Most of London's best-known clubs had not published NYE 2026 plans by early October. That is normal: line-ups and table prices usually land in late October or November. Here is how NYE usually works at each, without guessing at this year's details.
Ministry of Sound (Elephant and Castle). Ministry normally runs a multi-room, all-night NYE with a headline DJ in The Box. For NYE 2025 the club was led by Girls Don't Sync and Paul Woolford. Fabric (Farringdon). Fabric's NYE is usually an all-nighter running into New Year's Day morning. For NYE 2025, Time Out listed fabric's New Year's Eve from 9pm to 7am with Daniel Avery, FJAAK and KiNK, and tickets from £39.50 to £112.70. Treat those as last year's figures, not this year's.
KOKO (Camden). KOKO usually programmes a late NYE club night inside the former Camden theatre, and has hosted New Year's Day parties too, such as Glitterbox on 1 January 2026. Tables are the premium option; see our KOKO table booking page.
Drumsheds (Tottenham). The warehouse that took over from Printworks as Broadwick's flagship has announced its autumn and winter 2026 season through 5 December, with no New Year's Eve date published as of early October.
Egg London (King's Cross). Egg's NYE is a long multi-floor party: for NYE 2025 it was listed from 11pm to 7.45am across three floors. Watch for the 2026 announcement in November.
Mayfair and Soho clubs on NYE: tables and prepayment
The Mayfair and Soho clubs are where most of our NYE enquiries go, and they work differently from ticketed raves. On New Year's Eve the guestlist is usually closed or heavily restricted, and entry is mostly by table booking.
- Tape, one of the most requested NYE tables in Mayfair.
- Maddox on Mill Street, with two rooms.
- 99 Regent Street, formerly Cuckoo Club, still searched under its old name.
- Rumour, formerly Tabu, and Reign, the Mayfair showclub.
- Cirque le Soir and The Box in Soho, both built around performers and theatrical shows.
None of these had published NYE 2026 packages as of October 2026. What you can expect, based on how every NYE runs:
- Higher minimum spends than a normal Saturday. NYE is the most expensive night of the year in Mayfair. Minimums are set per table and per position, and the best tables near the DJ cost the most.
- Full prepayment. Most clubs ask for the whole minimum spend in advance on NYE, not a deposit, and it is usually non-refundable close to the date.
- Strict arrival windows. Tables are released if a group does not arrive by the agreed time. Plan to arrive by 11pm so you are seated well before midnight.
- Fixed group sizes. A table for eight means eight, with a set ratio expected at the door at some venues.

When to book and what NYE costs
Tickets. Big ticketed events release in tiers: early bird, then first and second release, then final release, with the price stepping up at each stage. October and November are the cheapest time to buy. Many NYE events in London are sold out by mid-December, and resale prices rise sharply after that.

Tables. If you want a Mayfair table, start the conversation in October or early November. Decide your group size, budget and preferred venue first, then book the venue with the smallest compromise. Changing venue in mid-December usually means paying more for a worse table.
The Thames fireworks: tickets and timing
The Mayor of London's fireworks are a ticketed event. The official page lists London New Year's Eve 2026 from 8pm on Thursday 31 December to 12.30am on 1 January 2027, and says the ticket release date will be announced soon, with a sign-up for alerts.
For context, last year's tickets went on sale in mid-October. For NYE 2025, Time Out reported around 100,000 tickets at £20 or £35 for Londoners and £40 or £55 for visitors, across viewing areas on Victoria Embankment, Waterloo Bridge, Westminster Bridge and behind the London Eye. Those were the 2025 prices; 2026 prices have not been published.
Fireworks and clubbing do not mix easily. Viewing areas fill hours before midnight and exits are slow afterwards. If you want both, consider a Thames boat party, which includes a view of the display and a party on board, or our guide to catching the firework show.
TfL on New Year's Eve and getting home
TfL has not published its NYE 2026 plans yet. Last year is a useful guide: for NYE 2025, Time Out's travel round-up reported the Tube and DLR running all night, with stations near the river closing or going exit only through the evening, including Charing Cross from 6pm, Westminster from 9.30pm, Embankment and Temple from 11pm, and Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus from 11.30pm.
What that means for a club night:
- Plan your route around the closures. If your club is in the West End, the nearest station may be shut from late evening. Walk to a station further from the river.
- Black cabs cost more. As of October 2026, TfL adds an extra £4 to metered fares between 8pm on 31 December and 6am on 2 January, on top of the night tariff.
- Ride-hailing apps surge. Expect high prices and long waits between midnight and 3am. Leaving the club a little before or after the rush helps.
- Agree a meeting point. Phone signal is poor in crowds near the river.
Thursday night into the 1 January bank holiday
Because NYE 2026 is a Thursday, Friday 1 January 2027 is a bank holiday that leads into a full weekend. That changes the night in two ways.
First, many people will be off work on Thursday as well, so early-evening parties such as Defected's 6pm start and daytime events will be busy. Second, New Year's Day parties and Friday and Saturday club nights give you a three-night weekend. Some groups book a table on NYE and a cheaper ticketed party on Saturday 2 January rather than trying to do everything on one night.
Bank holiday transport also runs to a different timetable, so check journeys home on the 1st as well as the 31st.

London's NYE 2026 club events are going on sale now, and the Mayfair clubs will publish their packages over the next few weeks. Buy tickets early, register interest in tables before November, and plan your route home before you leave.
