The Mayfair Club at 49-50 Dover Street has closed permanently. There is no longer a guestlist, door entry or table booking for it. If you were planning a night there, the clubs further down this page are open and we can arrange guestlist and tables at each of them.
What the Mayfair Club Was
The Mayfair Club stood at 49-50 Dover Street, on the corner with Piccadilly, a few minutes on foot from Green Park station. During the week it was primarily a gentlemen’s club. At weekends its dance floor opened as a nightclub, running club nights under a late licence. It was never one of the regular nightclubs we booked, and none of its old entry prices or guestlist offers apply any more.
Where to Go Instead in Mayfair
These clubs are open and their nights below are correct as of October 2026:
- Rumour: also on Dover Street, so the nearest open club to the old address. Open Wednesday to Saturday.
- Tape London: on Hanover Square. Open Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Maddox: on Mill Street, off Conduit Street. Open Thursday to Saturday.
- Dear Darling: in St James’s, a short walk from Piccadilly. Open Thursday to Sunday.
Rumour is the obvious choice if you want to stay on Dover Street. Tape London and Maddox are both a short walk north, towards Hanover Square and Regent Street, while Dear Darling is across Piccadilly in St James’s.
Getting on a Guestlist Nearby
Each of these clubs runs its own door, and Friday and Saturday fill up first, so it helps to arrange things ahead of the night.
