Gallery Club London is a 400-capacity house and electronic venue on Kensington High Street, built around a central 360-degree concrete DJ booth with a d&b audiotechnik system. It opened in 2025 under the line “West London, Rewritten”, and it is the most serious room the area has had for dance music in years.
The code is smart and stylish, and the Kensington door holds to it.
What Gets Refused
- Trainers — the most common refusal, however clean or expensive.
- Sportswear — tracksuits and technical kit, no exceptions for brand.
- Shorts — the code does not relax in summer.
- Ripped clothing — distressed denim included.
What to Wear
Men: a well-cut shirt or a good knit, tailored trousers or clean dark denim, and proper shoes. A jacket helps on a Saturday.
Women: a dress of any length, or elegant trousers or dark jeans with a dressy top. Heels or dress boots are expected — flats and trainers are not accepted.
The Other Door Rules
Dress is only half of it here. Two things matter as much:
- Group composition. Men are expected to arrive with women; three or more men together are frequently refused.
- Sobriety. Visible pre-drinking is a refusal in itself, regardless of what you are wearing or whether you are on the list.
A table booking guarantees entry for the group, but everyone still has to meet the code.
