- 99 Regent Street (formerly Cuckoo Club), entrance on Swallow Street near Piccadilly Circus: hip hop and RnB upstairs, house downstairs, Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm to 4am.
- Tape London at 17 Hanover Square, Mayfair: hip hop, RnB and Afrobeats, open Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
What Funky Buddha was like
For reference only, as none of this applies any more: Funky Buddha was at 15 Berkeley Street, Mayfair, with Green Park the nearest tube station. It traded there for over two decades and was known for its celebrity clientele. The club held about 300 guests, played hip hop and RnB, and opened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 11pm to 4am, with a Smart Casual dress code.
