Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about London nightlife, guestlists, VIP table bookings, and our free concierge service.
Guestlists
London Night Guide offers a free guestlist service for London's top nightclubs. Simply fill out our booking form, WhatsApp us, or contact us directly. We'll add your name to the guestlist and confirm your entry.
No. Our guestlist service is completely free. We don't charge any booking fees or service charges.
Being on the guestlist gives you priority entry and typically free or reduced admission. However, all venues reserve the right to refuse entry based on dress code, behaviour, or capacity. Arriving early (before midnight) greatly increases your chances.
We recommend arriving between 11pm and midnight for guestlist entry. Arriving after midnight may result in full-price entry or longer queues, depending on the venue.
VIP Tables
VIP table booking secures a private table area with dedicated waitstaff and bottle service at a nightclub. It includes priority entry for your group, reserved seating, and a premium experience.
Minimum spends typically start from £500-£1,000 for a standard table, with VIP and premium tables ranging from £1,500-£5,000+. Prices vary by venue, night, and table location. London Night Guide arranges the booking at no additional cost.
A VIP table typically includes priority entry for your group, a reserved table area, a dedicated server, and bottles of your choice (spirits, champagne, etc.) along with mixers and garnishes.
Most standard VIP tables accommodate 6-10 guests. Larger groups can book multiple tables or request a larger area. Let us know your group size and we'll arrange the perfect setup.
Dress Code
Most London nightclubs require smart and elegant attire. For ladies: dresses, heels, and stylish outfits. For gentlemen: smart casual with collared shirts and elegant shoes. Trainers, sportswear, shorts, and flip-flops are not allowed at most venues.
Most Mayfair and West End nightclubs do not allow trainers. Some more casual venues may permit clean, designer trainers but this is rare. When in doubt, opt for smart shoes.
General
Fridays and Saturdays are the biggest nights with the most venues open and the best atmospheres. Thursdays are popular for a more relaxed start to the weekend. Wednesdays are growing in popularity, especially at venues like Cirque Le Soir and Cuckoo Club.
Most London nightclubs close between 3am and 6am, depending on the venue and the night. Tape London and Maddox often stay open until 6am on weekends, while most others close at 3am-4am.
The legal drinking age in the UK is 18. All London nightclubs require valid photo ID (passport, driving licence, or PASS card) for entry. Some venues have a minimum age of 21.
