- Scotch of St James in Mason's Yard, St James's: open Thursday to Saturday.
- 99 Regent Street (formerly Cuckoo Club), entrance on Swallow Street near Piccadilly Circus: hip hop and RnB upstairs, house downstairs, Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm to 4am.
- Reign on Piccadilly: a showclub with live performance, open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
What Oscars Mayfair was like
For reference only, as none of this applies any more: Oscars Mayfair was at 91 Jermyn Street in St James's, near Piccadilly Circus. It combined a restaurant upstairs with a club downstairs, played commercial house from Thursday to Saturday, and was known for its modern design and futuristic lighting, with a VIP area alongside the dancefloor. The dress code was smart and elegant: heels and dresses for women, and smart shoes with no trainers or sportswear for men.
