How birthdays worked at Paper Club
For reference only, as none of this applies any more: Paper took its name from the Paper magazine cut outs on its walls and was known for a beautiful crowd and a seductive atmosphere. Birthday packages were aimed mainly at groups of women, ideally more than 12, and could include a host table with promoters on hand, with cakes and sparklers arranged on request. Larger groups of men were steered towards a table booking instead. Everyone had to be 18+ and dressed smart and elegant.
