INFORMATION : DISHOOM
Dishoom is an eccentric Indian restaurant which looks as if it has quite literally been pulled out of the middle of Bombay and into Covent Garden. It is strategically located in the middle of the West End, and close to Picadilly Circus and Covent Garden markets. Truly proud of its Indian heritage, this restaurant boasts of the Indian menu highly complimenting the Indian décor of the whole restaurant. A great place to try out the Indian cuisine in London, this restaurant is popular among the budget conscious crowd, but nevertheless the exquisite taste is a bang for your buck.
A Rakshaw greets the guests upon entrance, and ushered to their tables, as you enjoy the exciting culture of this restaurant. If you feel the need to use the bathrooms, be amazed at the medicine cabinets filled with traditional Indian remedies available at your disposal. For such complex food to be prepared, the service is as fast as it can possibly be, truly reflective of the fast paced city of Bombay. The reasonable prices that Dishoom provides the customers, is what brings back the patrons over and over again.
The menu lists some of the more traditional dishes in the Indian culture such as the Biryanis, Curries, and Naans. Dishoom is one of the only places within London where you can experience exotic Indian dishes such as the classic Indian Chai, the amazing Faloodal, and the tasteful Lassi. While waiting for your food, you can also sip some of the drinks they have on the menu that will take you wanting for more. Truly a great experience, Dishoom is definitely a place you want to try out when you’re out in London.
