**77 London** — also written **Seventy Seven** — is a 550-capacity electronic music club in the basement of The BoTree hotel on Welbeck Street, Marylebone. It was designed by **Concrete**, the Amsterdam studio, as a deliberately asymmetrical room lit by synchronised gold and silver LED, and it is one of the few rooms in this part of London booking dance music seriously.

Everything you need before you go.

## The Room

The design is the point. Rather than a rectangular floor with the DJ at one end, Concrete built an asymmetrical space on two levels: a sunken dance floor with a **mezzanine of booths looking down over it**, wrapped in gold and silver LED that moves with the music. Sightlines are good from almost everywhere, which is unusual at 550 capacity.

The practical consequence is that a table here is not a consolation prize for not dancing. The upper booths overlook the floor rather than facing a wall, so a group can sit and still be in the night.

## It Is Under a Hotel

77 sits in the basement of **The BoTree**, which is more useful than it sounds. There is a bar and restaurant upstairs for dinner before, and rooms above if the night runs long — so a birthday or a group weekend can be built around one address rather than three. It also means the arrival is discreet: you go down into the club rather than queueing on the street.

## Which Night to Pick

**Thursday** is the quieter night and the easier door. **Friday** fills properly. **Saturday** carries the biggest bookings and sells out first. Because 77 programmes by act rather than by night, the right choice depends on who is playing — message us with a date range and we will tell you what is on.

## Getting In

Guestlist places are available for men and women, 18+, and bigger nights also sell tickets through Resident Advisor. A [table from £1,000](https://londonnightguide.com/77-london-table-booking/) covers entry for the group. See the [guestlist page](https://londonnightguide.com/77-london-guestlist/) and the [entry price guide](https://londonnightguide.com/77-london-entry-price/).

## Location

77 is at **77 Welbeck Street, Marylebone, London W1G 0BB**. The nearest tube is **Bond Street**, about five minutes on foot via the Central, Jubilee and Elizabeth lines, with Oxford Circus a similar distance. Welbeck Street runs north off Wigmore Street, just behind Oxford Street — central, but a street quiet enough that you are not queueing in a crowd.
